PARKS COMMISSION
Purpose: Advisory to the Board of Commissioners in matters
concerning the care and development of landscaping of any county-owned parks
Authority:
Membership: 9 members: 2 members
shall be the president and vice president of the County Council of Garden Clubs
and 7 members shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Members serve a term of 3 years (staggered), 2-term
limit (after any partial term is complete, or extended if a waiver of the
2-term limit has been granted); terms expire in June. The chairman is appointed annually by the
Board of Commissioners.
