PERSONNEL BOARD

 

 

 

 

Purpose:               Advisory to the Board of Commissioners; performs such duties as assigned by the board of commissioners and/or the county manager relating to personnel; all actions and duties performed by the board shall be consistent with state law and may not supercede or abrogate the intent of state law or state personnel policies

Membership:        7 member board appointed by the Board of Commissioners.  Members serve a 3-year term (staggered), 2- term limit (after any partial term is complete, or extended if a waiver of the 2-term limit has been granted); terms expire in February.  The chairman is elected annually by the board membership.

Meetings:              The Personnel Board meets at 3:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of the months of January, April, July and October in the Administration Building conference room.
