WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD

 

 

 

 

Purpose:               Advisory to the Board of Commissioners; a Service Delivery Area which monitors and advises the area One-Stop Career Centers and all agencies receiving financial funding under the Workforce Investment Act

-    Mountain Local Area Consortium Agreement (12/08/03)

 

                                

Membership:        A 29-member regional board of which 4 members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Transylvania County.  Members serve a 3-year term (staggered), 2- term limit (after any partial term is complete, or extended if a waiver of the 2-term limit has been granted); terms expire in May.
