Intent of the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners to authorize the conveyance of 1.22 acres of property (PIN: 8553-60-4096-000) it owns adjoining Rosman Town Hall in Rosman, North Carolina to the Town of Rosman Transylvania County Audit Report - Year Ending June 30, 2011
Transylvania County will be awarded $400,000 of federal funds to rehabilitate 8 to 10 homes in Transylvania County.  Homes must be owned & occupied by low-income households. Mobile homes are not eligible.
A $10,000 cash prize awaits the winner of the 2011 Business Development Plan Competition.

Public Meetings

Transylvania County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Rogow Room of  Transylvania County Library located at 212 S. Gaston Street, Brevard, NC.  Purpose of the meeting is to review the first pass of the FY 2012-2013 Budget. Action may or may not be taken.

 meeting will be on Monday, February 13  in the large courtroom of the Transylvania County Courthouse

Transylvania County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing regarding application to the NC Division of Community Investment for a 2011 CDBG Scattered Site Housing Grant. Public hearing Monday, February 13 at 7PM in the large courtroom at County Courthouse.

Rosman's Board of Alderman Meeting will be Tuesday, February 14,  at 7PM in Town Hall.

Senator Jim Davis (NC 50 Senate District) will hold a Town Hall meeting in Brevard on February 21 from 6:30 till 9:00 pm at the Library.
