Notice is hereby given that the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners intends to donate a food warmer to Rosman High School. The Sheriff’s Office is no longer using the food warmer, and the County Manager has declared it as surplus.

North Carolina General Statute § 160A-280 allows a county to donate surplus personal property to another governmental unit or nonprofit organization incorporated in the United States. Prior to the donation, Transylvania County must post public notice of its intent to donate the property. The donation will be approved through the adoption of a resolution during the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners on January 10, 2022.
