The Transylvania County Manager formally presented the FY 2023 Recommended Budget for Transylvania County to the Board of Commissioners during a regular meeting on Monday, May 23, 2022 and it is available for public inspection. A copy of the FY 2023 Recommended Budget is available at the office of the Clerk to the Board, County Administration Building, 101 S. Broad St., Brevard, weekdays 8:30am-5pm. A copy has also been placed at the Transylvania County Library and posted online at https://www.transylvaniacounty.org/departments/finance.
The Board of Commissioners modified its regular meeting schedule in June to the following dates: Monday, June 13 at 4pm and Monday, June 20 at 6pm. There will be no meeting on June 27, unless other posted. The Board of Commissioners will conduct public hearings on the FY 2023 Budget proposal during both meetings. The meetings will be held in Commissioners’ Chambers at the County Administration Building, located at 101. S. Broad St., Brevard, NC.
All meetings of the Board of Commissioners are open to the public in accordance with the North Carolina Open Meetings Law. The meeting facilities are handicap accessible and anyone requiring special assistance should notify the Clerk to the Board at (828) 884-1936 as soon as possible.
