John received his Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and a Juris Doctor from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. John’s legal career has developed through many areas of public service. “High quality and consistent representation for DSS cases is a critical element in making sure that the department can effectively advocate in the best interest of citizens, from young children through adults. We are excited to have John joining the team with both his legal expertise and his enthusiastic, collaborative approach,” said Transylvania County Manager Jaime Laughter.
