The County is now accepting applications for funding for Fiscal Year 2022. Transylvania County is accelerating our budget process this year so please pay close attention to the dates listed below. For those of you who received funding in FY 2021, we are in the process of reviewing all 6-month reports that were submitted.
I have attached the application form, instructions, County’s Nonprofit Funding Policy and Procedure and Transylvania County Strategic Plan Quick Overview for your reference as you complete the application. These will also be made available on our website early next week.
Some dates to keep in mind as you weigh your application:
- On Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 I will be hosting a short presentation and Q&A session on the process for interested applicants via zoom. The session will start at 10:00AM and will be recorded this year if you are unable to make this date. The registration information is at the bottom of this email.
- This year’s deadline is March 5th, 2021 at 5:00PM
- A hard copy of your application is not required, just sign and email them to [email protected] before the deadline
- Our review committee will review applicants in March and the announcement of recommended appropriations to nonprofit organizations will be made in April
