The Transylvania Economic Alliance in partnership with Transylvania County intend to prequalify interested contractors for the construction of a 60,750 sf new insulated precast concrete shell building, including upfit and associated site work. The project site is Brevard, North Carolina.

Prequalification documents along with the approved Transylvania County Prequalification Policy may be obtained at the TEA Website, http://transylvaniaalliance.com/ or by contacting Paul R. Garafola, WHN+ Architects, PA, 330 West 10th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, [email protected] or at 704-333-9952. All Prequalification applications are due to Paul Garafola, at the address above by 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. No applications will be accepted after this time.

Only contractors that have been prequalified by the Transylvania Economic Alliance and Transylvania County will be able to submit a bid package for the construction of the new facility.

The Transylvania Economic Alliance and Transylvania County reserve the right to reject any and all applications; to waive all technicalities and irregularities; and to request additional information from an applicant.

The building project will be funded by Transylvania County, a Golden LEAF Foundation grant and other state funding.
