The FY 2026 Recommended Budget for Transylvania County is available for public inspection in the Office of the Clerk to the Board, County Administration Building, 101 S. Broad St., Brevard, weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A copy has been placed at the Transylvania County Library and posted online at https://www.transylvaniacounty.org/departments/finance.
The Board of Commissioners will hold a budget workshop on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. to further deliberate on the budget. The Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the FY 2026 Budget proposal during a regular meeting on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meetings will be held in the Multipurpose Chambers at the County Administration Building.
All meetings of the Board of Commissioners are open to the public in accordance with the North Carolina Open Meetings Law. The meeting facilities are handicapped accessible and anyone requiring special assistance should notify the Clerk to the Board at (828) 884-1936 as soon as possible.
