Notice is hereby given that it is the intent of the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners to donate two computers, identified as Dell OptiPlex 3020, and two Dell monitors to the Transylvania Heritage Museum. The Transylvania County Manager has declared the computers surplus and they were removed from service in February 2017. North Carolina General Statute 160A-280 allows the County to donate surplus property to a nonprofit incorporated in the United States. Prior to donation, the County must post public notice of its intent to donate the property then adopt a resolution donating the property during a meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
