The Transylvania County Board of Commissioners invites interested residents to apply for appointment to the following citizen advisory councils. These boards and committees provide valuable recommendations on a wide range of issues affecting our community.
*Applicant must reside within the City of Brevard Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).
**Applicants may not have an immediate family member residing in a licensed long-term care facility. Required classroom and field training must be completed before appointment.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and remain active for two (2) years. Residents are
encouraged to apply even if the desired position is not currently vacant. All applicants must be residents
