The Solid Waste Landfill on Woodruff Road and the collection center sites, except for Calvert, will be open to the public on Friday, July 3, 2026. Operating hours are:
Landfill: 8 am - 4 pm
Pisgah Forest: 8 am - 5:30 pm
See Off: 8 am - 4 pm
Calvert: Closed
All other county offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of Independence Day. All Solid Waste sites will be closed on Saturday, July 4, and will reopen on Monday, July 6, for normal operating hours.
