2026-02-12 Legal Ad_ Electronic Auction of Surplus Real Property.pdf
Pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 160A-270 and authorized by County Resolution #02-2026, the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners will sell the real property listed below by electronic auction.
The auction is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and end on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The auction will remain open continuously during this period. If no bids are received during this period, the County may extend the bidding period in accordance with GovDeals procedures until a qualifying bid is received. Bids may be submitted at https://www.GovDeals.com/tcncre.
Prior to the March 23 electronic auction, interested individuals can access additional information about the surplus real property via Transylvania County’s GIS Hub Site at https://gis.transylvaniacounty.org.
Transylvania County reserves the right to withdraw the properties from sale at any time, and the right to reject all bids. The sale is not final until the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners has accepted the bid. Properties are sold “as is, where is,” with no warranty expressed or implied.
