Notice is hereby given that the Joint School Bond Project Committee will meet on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Chambers at the Transylvania County Administration Building, located at 101 S. Broad Street, Brevard. In accordance with North Carolina Open Meetings Law, the meeting is open to the public.
An interlocal governmental agreement between the Transylvania County Board of Commissioners and the Transylvania County Board of Education formed the joint committee, consisting of two members from both Boards, the County Manager, and the School System Superintendent. The joint committee has been charged with duties to guide the bond funded school improvement projects from the bond sale in October 2024.
On February 5th, project updates will be provided by Project Manager Beecher Allison, and the Committee will review the summer plan and discuss CMAR work authorizations and Construction Manager at Risk Pricing.
